The journey of an addict turning into a friend, philosopher and guide for his fellow addict brothers, Shri. Dwijen Smart completed his 25 years of recovery.
On this occasion we had arranged a “talk show” in respect of his milestones of recovery process. We intend to motivate the beneficiaries to opt for process of recovery.
The questions asked in the talk show were related to his life experiences and journey away from addiction. The journey included his attitude and behaviour towards himself and his parents, sibling. The experience of being an addiction, how the society treats an addict. About his decision of leaving addiction and start a new life, being responsible, getting married, having children’s, build his dream for helping fellow addicts and reaching up a level where he, himself becomes the ideal of so many people outside, which helps them and motivates them to leave addiction and start a new journey of themselves.
